Typing Test Troubleshooting

Follow

The typing test measures your typing skills and style. You will need to quickly copy the sentences that are shown to you on the screen. The timer will start once you click into the first text box. The goal is to type the text displayed as quickly and as accurately as possible.

For this module you will need a desktop or laptop device with a keyboard. If you are currently completing your assessment on a mobile device you can can log back into your assessment on a desktop or laptop device with a keyboard using the same email address you used to originally register.

  • Make sure to retype the text as fast and accurately as possible within this timeframe.

  • While you’re typing you are not able to use arrows, mouse clicks, or commands like copying, pasting, etc.

You have completed the assessment once a green checkbox next to all sentences appears.Screen_Shot_2018-07-18_at_12.24.47.png You may now click on 'Next' to go to the next step.

All sentences retyped correctly have a green checkbox

If you see a red cross next to a sentence, there is an error you must correct before proceeding. Pay close attention to upper- and lowercase and punctuation.
