Introduction
SMS Authentication allows candidates to create an account and log in using their phone number. On the landing page, candidates can choose to continue with either their phone number or email address. If a candidate selects their phone number, they will receive a One-Time Password (OTP) via SMS to verify their identity.
Harver uses a single SMS provider for all SMS-related features on our platform. To successfully send SMS messages to candidates in different countries, we typically need a local phone number in each country.
Some countries allow cross-border SMS sending (e.g., sending from the Netherlands to Germany).
Others require a local number and do not support cross-border sending (e.g., Vietnam to Cambodia)
Supported countries
Harver currently supports SMS delivery to a wide range of countries. If a candidate registers with a phone number from any of the countries listed below, they are able to receive SMS messages from Harver (such as: One-Time Passwords (OTP) for account registration or login and Assessment reminders).
